Ian Langmann

Ian Langmann brings with him broad but relevant work experience. Surrounded by his father’s antique store at an early age Ian eventually became involved in selling and appraising international art and antiques and learning their restoration. Ian graduated from BCIT’s forestry program in 1990 and worked across the BC coast for Interfor before settling down again in Vancouver. Here, using his restoration knowledge, he started his own contracting firm renovating homes in Vancouver’s West Side. After deciding to move to Courtenay in 2012, Ian started with a local firm specializing in new home construction and eventually managed the construction of a multi-unit development. Returning to his work as an independent contractor, Ian continued doing renovations as well as working with several property management firms completing remediation and repairs to homes and strata units. Ian continually draws from this broad experience, when dealing with residential, strata and commercial claims and hopes to eventually specialize in art and antique claims.

Jessica brings more than 15 years of insurance industry experience, beginning her career in 2010 after completing the General Insurance and Risk Management program at BCIT. She holds CIP and CRM designations, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and industry knowledge.

Over the years, she has built extensive expertise as both a broker and a high-net-worth underwriter, supporting a wide range of complex insurance needs. Her experience spans diverse accounts across Canada, including commercial farms, high-value estates, and specialized risks.

Growing up in a family involved in the construction industry sparked Jessica’s early interest in real estate and construction projects. Today, she is passionate about helping clients find the right insurance solutions and is known for her thorough approach, dependability, integrity, and dedication to exceptional service.
