Allan joined Coast Claims in 1994, becoming a partner in 1998, a Managing Partner in 2007, and President in 2020. He specializes in marine claims (Hull and Casualty) for commercial vessels, pleasure craft and wharves, including damage surveys and detailed investigations, complex liability losses, and heavy equipment, construction and larger property claims. He also manages a significant marine TPA program for a Canadian MGA. Allan holds a Chartered Risk Manager (CRM), Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designations, and is a member of the Association of Marine Surveyors of British Columbia and the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS).

Christine began her career in the insurance industry in 2016 and has since earned her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. She started her career as an Auto Adjuster before transitioning into Commercial Lines Underwriting. From there she made her way to adjusting property claims and has spent the last couple years as a claim’s examiner. She recently found her way back to adjusting, the area she’s most passionate about. Over the years, Christine has gained experience handling Property, Liability, and Commercial claims.

She currently holds a Level 2 Adjuster’s License in both British Columbia and Alberta, demonstrating her commitment to professional growth and excellence within the insurance field. In addition to her professional work, Christine serves as the current Events Chair for the Vancouver Island Chapter of the Insurance Institute, where she helps foster community engagement within the industry.

Don arrived in Victoria in 1994 when he was transferred from Alberta to be a field adjuster for a national insurer. He remained with that company for 15 years, building a good reputation in the insurance industry. His work experience includes adjusting for several of Canada’s catastrophic losses, as well as handling major local property claims for a number of different insurers. Don has completed two Fellow Chartered Insurance designations, and the Certified Risk Management program; with more than 10 years of independent claims adjusting, his professional experience is a great asset to Coast Claims. Specializing in property and liability claims, Don provides our clients with outstanding service.
